The West Monroe High School Band has a reputation for excellence that spans almost 40 years. Under the leadership of Dr. Michael Spears, Myron Turner, and now Robert Freeman, the band has enjoyed consistent Superior ratings at Marching and Concert festivals since 1966, garnering public as well as critical acclaim along the way. Due to tremendous emphasis on fundamentals as well as exposure to music of the highest quality, the musicians in the West Monroe High School Band play at a performance level beyond their years, thrilling audiences from West Monroe to Washington, D.C.!

We are looking forward to an exciting new year here at the Rebel Band! For the 2006-2007 season, the WMHS Marching Rebel Band will be performing a 007 themed show. Tunes in the show include "James Bond Theme Song", "Hovercraft Chase", "For Your Eyes Only", and "Live and Let Die". This show promises to be an exciting one.
